Driving Directions from Calgary International Airport (about 1 hour 45 minutes):
For daily travel within the Banff, consider taking public transportation provided by the Town of Banff. Banff is the first municipality in Canada to introduce an all-hybrid electric transit fleet. These modern, comfortable and eco-friendly buses, introduced in June 2008, are a convenient and responsible way to get around town. You can pick up the latest printed schedules and route information just about anywhere: hotels, Parks Canada Information Centre and administration building, on the bus, Banff Town Hall and more.
This public bus service runs approximately every 40 minutes around the town. One route runs between The Fairmont Banff Springs and downtown along Banff Avenue to the northern end of the shopping district, allowing delegates to easily get to other hotels located within the downtown core. The fare is $2.00 per adult for a single trip but can cost as little as $1.50 with tokens purchased from the Banff Town Hall. The bus operates in the summer 6:15 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. For more information visit the Town of Banff website.
